It's good to look back at life, from faraway over here
divorced from reality and emotions and any possible fears
and compassion has increased without any shadowy kiss
it is no longer a matter of luck or chance, or any hit or miss
for everything can be viewed as one field of vision
the present, the future, the past, there is no division
and i yearn to let me feel you being touched by me again
but the molecules of your body feel like a light drizzle of rain
as i pass through your soul and feel that divine heat
when i was living, i loved to feel permutate right down to my cold feet
and now i can only watch you as if on a cinema screen
your world is so shallow and tainted by aspirations of your own dreams
sometimes we meet by chance, like stations in the night
a flight of fancy that somehow, just never feels quite right
and you distort your visits to me and mingle it with death and chance
I would so love to embrace you once more, in one final last close dance
