Carnac told me to come here so, unquestioningly  , I did. I look forward to hearing Allison's other songs, and one day [perhaps] her Live rendition[s] of Joan of Arc :D 8) [and Hallelujah, from over on that other thread  ], as well :D . Sail on........ :)

Carnac sayysssss... do you think I'm being silly making separate threads for different songs?

Here's hoping we do get out your way for a concert before too long ( :

The plan is to tour as far east in Canada as Halifax this summer ~ and if we can make it into the U.S. for some shows, that will be very cool! We shall see what the universe has in store...

hehe

cheers! Adrian

 Are you kidding !?! As many non-Leonard-related threads as there are on this [or the Sony] Forum ~ and "silly" to make a separate thread, for another cover of another Leonard song on another album? Surely you jest..... .

Hope to see you somewhere along the tour line 8) :D ! Don't forget Columbia as a tour stop :D .

ah, good ( :

likely that's me being fatigued, and not always sure where my feet are landing!

today I had the opportunity to sleep for 12+ hours - which is about three days/nights rest for me customarily, so, I am in a rare state of being

next week Allison's album is "officially" released - though we've at least another month of slogging ahead to set up distribution etc. ~ so, it's nice to enjoy a quiet day

then, it's tour time - and I've noted Columbia as a stop; it takes some time to get approvals for work visas to perform concerts in the U.S., still our plan is to eventually go everywhere people want to hear Alley - so, we shall meet you when we can! :D

cheers, Ad

Hi Adrian ~

Rest is good :D . Glad to hear you got some 8) . 12 hours is awesome, especially with the schedule you infer. I know you've got to be tired.

If Columbia's a true possibility, please contact Bobbie Chalou [see the NY Event section in the Files for her address] regarding Open Mic on Friday/Saturday and slot yourself in ~ if you don't make it there, then you'll have 'opted out,' an option anyone has. If you're just coming for that express purpose, I don't know what/if the fees for the Event are concerned. I wouldn't be the one to speak to that, but Geoff Gompers could/would. It would be so fine to meet both of you :D 8) :D .

Oy! Elizabeth, perhaps I am sharper with no sleep

I realize now that Columbia in only 5 or so weeks away - and, that almost certainly is not realistic for our travel dates. We could get there a month or two after you're all gone!

Of course, the universe may have its own design that could over-ride ~ but, it's more likely that we'll meet in cyber-space for a while yet. The mp3s will travel ahead of us ( :

Happy Mother's Day weekend, everyone!!!

Well, better late than never, they say ~ as long as it's not the Leonard Cohen Event you have your heart set on. However, you can still bring pleasure to Columbia :D .

Another time........ :D . Cup o' coffee  ?

indeed, "it's life and life only"

this being album release week, I've barely stopped moving

it would be grand to be part of the Leonard Cohen weekend, but life has other things in store for me/us...

may your days, lost and found, be full ( :
