Michaeljohn,

That is the question plaguing many of us since yesterday. Ticketmaster in AKL advised me this morning (Sat) that the fanclub link is up and running and that sales have been going through and that I needed to belong to the fanclub to obtain the link. When I told the lady I was a member of the fanclub and no link had so far been provided she could not help as she said this was organised at the fan club end.

I'm so excited that I have bought tickets and I'm going to the Christchurch concert!! I've been a devoted fan of Leonard Cohen for almost 40 years but I missed out on tickets last year. I live in rural South Island (in an LC vacuum!) and bought flights to Wellington last year but couldn't get tickets  So now, thanks to finally joining this wonderful fan club, I have bought the best tickets I could. Many thanks to Jarkko for organising this pre-sale and making this dream possible :D

Is there any chance that there will be a performance in one of the vineyards round Sydney, maybe Bowral or Hunter Valley, as well as the Acera Arena?

Susee,

From what I understand seats have been allocated to the Fan club, Frontier Touring and general (ticketmaster) sales on a % basis. I do not know what the %s are but this means the good seats are available for each category. hope this helps. Clive.

Yes, my question is the same as kimmyop - does anyone know if the song list/concert will be the same as 2009?

I am getting nervous about being able to get a good seat so I am going to post here what I think I am supposed to do on midday Monday and see if anyone can tell me if I have something wrong.
I want to purchase tickets to the Brisbane show:
I go to http://www.ticketek.com.au and log in using my email address plus password.
I type cohen in the search box and then click on the leonard cohen link.
I click on the frontiertouring line and log in there with my email address and a different password.
Now it gets a little murky but I think I click on the leonard cohen link under current tours, then I assume click the presale button.
I say assume because when I press that presale button now, I just go back to the frontiertouring page and perhaps that is because presales have not started yet. At least I thought that was the case so I clicked on the NZ links because people have said they already have their seats but when I click on wellington, I just get routed back to a ticketek site. This is why I am getting confused. Can anyone enlighten me?
Another question, I assume that if I pay for platinum I would get to choose a seat but as I have never been to an event at the Bisbane Entertainment Centre, I would have no idea which are the best seats. I hope some of you fellow Leonard lovers will help me out here because the cost for the ticket is absolutely mind-boggling to me and I would hate to make a huge error.

Just go to the special Ticketek page via the link provided by Frontier Touring (you got this after you registered). Save it in your favourites. Then on the day and time go straight there - there will be a place to paste(or type) your unique pre-sale code. But make sure you have registered a Ticketek account if you have not already because you will need to log in to complete the purchase.

You can only access the page via the FT email they sent you after you registered with them. The email should include your unique password number also.

Hey Ania,
Not sure if you have sorted it out yet but I didn't have the email either. If you log in and then go to the CURRENT TOURS > LEONARD COHEN then click on VIEW for the show you want it should come up with your password and then a little thing you can click which says VISIT MY PRESALE LINK

Thanks Shockvalue,
Maybe I am getting confused with the terminology. I feel like a bit of a fool. See if I have this right now.
When I registered with frontier touring, I was sent a link to activate my account. I clicked on this and was then sent my 'unique frontier password'. Is that the password that will enable me to purchase the tickets?

Wombat Writer - Yep! You always use that same password. I got my last Leonard Cohen tickets through the Frontier Presale using that.

Thanks Jarkko I have navigated my way around and have tickets for the Wellington Concert. The January 2009 Wellington concert was sublime. It is a great world watching all the posts in the last few days since word reached our shores that Leonard Cohen was visiting again. Have loved the angst of Loenard's songs for 45 years. They speak to the dilemma's of all ages. Gaylene
