Do Not Believe

Post by Taigaku »

It seems I'm going all mystical on you these days :D
"I know that I'm forgiven"... Here's a poem, originally posted at Allpoetry.com:

Do Not Believe

Do not believe
in love.
Live from love.
Gently
feed your fears
into flames of such
compassionate intensity
only tears
of gratitude remain.
I am with you in this.
You are with me in this.
Allow it to be
as it is.

If anyone is seriously tired of spiritual psychobabbel, let me know
I can write about cars and girls...

 ~ Good G~d, we come to this site to get away from topics of cars and girls! Well, 'cept maybe Tony  [oh, Hi Tony! :D ].

As always, Taigaku, you find your way to the essence and make it real. Simply, truly beautiful and true.

All respect,
Elizabeth

Thank you, Elizabeth :D

Well, cars and girls was not all that seriously intended.. The two words just came to me, a semi-quote from the band Prefab Sprout, who have a song entitled "Some things hurt more than cars and girls"...

But, you know, I kind of feel I've left outer, empirical reality all together in my writing.. :?

Well, inner reality is not so bad either...

I knew you were teasing, Taigaku [that they were merely symbols] ~ however, I took advantage of the moment to, in turn, tease Tony. I've never heard of Prefab Sprout, so definitely wouldn't have made that connection :? ~ however, still managed to get it on 'me' very own  . Your inner-reality writings are carrying on in their tradition of beauty :D . 'Tis a good thing ~ or ~ It's all good.

Hi Epurcelly ~ :D

I loved your description of Taigaku's writing, "relaxed"..."soothing and warm". I had told him his style was 'calm' and 'calming'.
It does have an amazing quality, doesn't it.
