.. I've decided to delete the post I had here before.. To those of you lucky (or unlucky) enough to have seen the youtube clip I posted, I hope it was.. okay, it was stupid.. but hopefully it was.. Well, anyhoo.. I've been up since 4 a.m. today, and I've decided that I may not be making the best golf moves.. I should probably have just stayed with my yoga postions* instead.. (and I don't need an instructor for that) (by the way)..

T.. let me know if you find out anything of interest on the copyright front..

night all,
v i o l e t

*I can't believe I missed including this hyperbolically obvious sexual pun yesterday.. (geez.. I must be losing it)..

Well, I don't know that I'm gonna be looking any time soon. But I'm definitely interested for sure.

Marisha, why do you keep signing as Geoffrey, and why isn't Geoffrey suing you for such identity theft.. (?)

.. oh, and what does "afaik" mean??.. and anyway, now you're defending T.??.. oh, or was it Harry giving him a hard time before.. who's dead, by the way.. I think.. he died right on the fairway, as I understand it.. with his little pink-silk woods covers in tow.. (the ones that match his panties.. or so I'm told).. if he'd only stuck with boxers.. I mean, it's simple things like that that can actually save lives..

..anyway.. something for all of us to ponder, it seems..

v i o l e t.. (having a contemplative day)...

Vilent, afaik you are not an unkind person. I have sprung to Teratogen´s defence because he is imho perfectly entitled to write a poem about the Grand Canyon and you can moan and complain as much as you like but as sure as eggs are bananas Teratogen is RIGHT and you are WRONG. I for one love his Grand Canyon poem and you need to get over it. You are only a girl and he is ALL MAN. So hush your green eyed monster and clap his poem. Don´t not never be not unkind not again at all (NOT). I award Teratogen 3 Gold Bananas, he can fill my Grand Canyon anyday.

Actually, when one considers that here in these forumish altitudes (or be they far lower than that.. as it would [mostly] appear.. around here, at any rate).. ANYWAY.. when one considers that the Written Word is really all we have here with which to.. well.. fall in love, let's say.. (to keep this rife topic going).. ANYWAY, the point is.. try to keep in mind such writerly eloquence (as per that quoted above, I mean).. as we are transported to that lovely love land, best evoked through music--

Oh, WAIT a minute, SCRATCH all that..

Basically, all I'm really saying, is that this song just (unaccountably, it seems) popped into my head.. although I'd probably change the lyrics a bit to something like: "Something in the way she spells".. for example.. which would fill out more, I think, the source of my new love's inspiration..

.. [nice clips, huh, Marish??.. which one do you want to be?.. I of course get to be Yoko (as per my rather radical artistic sensibilities).. I think maybe you should be that pretty, round-faced [dirty]blonde one (don't know her name, I'm afraid).. and then together we can cheat on our famous husbands]..

Violet,

Your comments re. the 'written word' being all we have to fall in love with here on the forum (that is, if one is even looking to fall love here) made me think that the way in which the word is written, specifically by Marisha, might be what you're falling for. For e.g., Marisha writes 'afaik' for 'I think'. When I pronounce 'afaik', I immediately see a mental image of Jamie Oliver, with his sexy lisp and earthy language and accent, and oh yes, the way he handles food – unafraid yet striving to help it attain it's fullest promise (ohhhhhh...)... not that all that sensuality would suck me in... but just to clarify the effect it may be having on you.

.. oh, yes! definitely it's Marisha's spelling that's casting a "spell" on me, shall we say (though with much different results, it seems).. oh, I'd mention as well, Marisha's unsual word combinations.. let's see, now.. oh, here's a nice example:

"Don´t not never be not unkind not again at all (NOT)."

.. I mean, sorry.. but I need to go somewhere nice 'n private-like after reading something like that.. I mean, contrary to certain cyber-engendering (identity-bending) tendencies, I'm only human, after all.. (where's my little purple fan, by the way?).. (I need to get me some air, methinks)..

.. (oh, and.. from the sound of things, I.F.. you might need a bit of "fanning" yourself)..

Why do my threads always seem to get hijacked? I am going to go ahead and have the balls to compare myself to Jesus. I get the people who care to listen and discuss and the people who interpret that as "listless and diskus," if you know what I'm sayin'.

.. actually, T., come to think of it, I think Marisha could have done a much better job with this[tus].. I mean.. even just given her lithpus --

WHA -- ??????

[Violet has just been forcibly removed from the site by two irate (very REAL) moderators]..

.. [v i o l e t: hmm.. I don't know any of them, actually, but at first glance, I'd say it's probably Henning.. and.. well we know the other one's gotta be that "dick" person]..

edit: oh, and now I had to correct my own quote (!).. I really should never check up on these things..

you say that like no-one else compares you to Jesus ! it doesn´t take balls, it takes a person´s duty to tell the truth, that´s all. it is the obvious compelling comparison. also afaik Jesus was entirely silent on the Grand Canyon.

sorry - just going to sneak in for a sec. - V your dress seems to have... well... disappeared (or perhaps you over starched). Gotta love Marlene Dietrich - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vCmMc0Zo ... re=related - what a voice.

Jason, I liked what you said about love becoming bored and that left untended can be dangerous, I'm not sure about angry... I'm not sure if love can be angry, that sounds like something else.

.. interesting you noticed this, Cate.. you see, I left that lovely satinie-silk dress at my dry cleaners.. had very little time before the show.. (a very important show since his Lordship [in another of his many guises] was to be attending, and I wanted to make a good impression).. anyway.. there was nothing I could do.. I had to wear it looking half-clothed, I'm afraid.. at least my silk stockings and garters 'n things were all in order.. now that would have been embarrassing, I mean if something were amiss with all that.. so.. I just keep thankful for the little things that go well.. and try not to think of the fact that I was performing with my satinie-silk dress over-starched and arching up over my underthingies.. but you know, I'm actually becoming better and better at ignoring such inevitable mishaps..

.. [oh, and of course, this is all to be included in yet another new book of mine, which happens to be heading the new backlash against traditional self-help literature.. It's titled: When in Doubt: Drink]..

.. oh, I guess I should include this here again.. And so, for those of you not paying too close attention to all of this nonsense, this is the performance in question..
