Yes , Block A is flat Seating and Block B directly behind it is tiered. I don't understand the double letters - i.ie. Row A-JJ or even tripe J. It was frustrating on ticketmaster but a friend of mine cliked on Block a to be told none available so got block b. Then later as in a good 5 mins later went in again and cliked on Best available and got Block A!!! doesnt make sense. However the bigger picture is we are seeing our Leonard so...................happy days :D

I think it is mad in this day and age that Tickermaster does not allow one actually choose where one is seated rather than have some random automatic algorithm offering the 'best seats' in the house. You can click on your seat (at least on Aer Lingus).

So despite being on Tickermaster at 9.02 I have been allocated B row RR 52-–57 and am not sure whether I am happy or not. Choice is actually the bane of modern society, my 'unhappiness' is definitely a first-world problem.

So is it Row A that is flat seating and Row B is the tiered? I did not understand that from the seating plan.
Yes row B is tiered and directly behind block A. They're not great tickets for one who was up so early!! :(
Kilmainham 2008 (1st night!), O2 London 2008, O2 Dublin 2009, Lissadell 2010, Kilmainham 2012 (2 nights).

My understanding is the following: Rows A-Z, Then AA-ZZ, then AAA-ZZZ etc so from Row A to Row ZZ would be 52 rows.

Living in Sligo for 20 years; work in the shade of Benbulben, look out on Lisadell every day, 1km from Yeats' grave.
Have tickets for concert in B and am delighted. Dublin was brilliant, this must be the ultimate.
Now have to enter into negotiations with 8 and 5 year olds who want to go!!!!!!!
Thanks.

I think this has to be a consequence of so many of us getting lost in the visa verification process. I held block a tickets for 8 minutes on at least 3 occasions and lost them each time. Presumably they're locked for that period of time before being released again leaving less tickets available for everyone.Oh Well, stress is over and hopefully most of us are happy - roll on the concert

Hi folks,

Just to let you all know that we got two tickets in Block A, Row L - no idea how good, bad or indifferent the seats are. Hopefully, there won't be people wearing tall hats in front of us......

This is our first post - only joined on Wednesday, but have been a "lurker" for a while now. I've adored Leonard since I was 16 (and that wasn't today nor yesterday!!!). First saw him in the National Stadium in Dublin (didn't bring the boxing gear!) in 1985 (our first date together), and then in Belfast last year. LIsadell should be terrific - although the last time we looked over the house years ago, it was a really dismal, uninspiring place but maybe the new owners have changed things!

It was also our first time to use Ticketmaster, and it seemed to work (won't be properly convinced until we have the actual tickets in our grubby paws, though).

Many thanks to Jarkko and the team for all their hard work in making this happen - and also to everyone here on the Forum for all their help and advice.

What a palaver!! I am so glad to hear I was not the only one to fall foul of the ticketmaster hurdles and have trouble!!
Went through the process i am sure 10 times in total. Had tickets Block B but not realising i would lose the booking went back to check where they were on the seating plan in another window! and OOPS! Back to start!
Then next time with excellent Block A tickets visa verification on the card i had on ticketmaster didn't work. Back again thinking i must have typed something wrongly! No luck and again lost tickets!! Again trying another card no luck!I could go on and on but after 20 minutes of stress i got Block B row R tickets. 10 minutes later then rational thought came back over my initial attempts and i worked out it must just be the luck of the 'best seating' button and went back again!!! YIPPEE got 2 tickets for Block A Row M 45 and 46!!! I'MMMMM very happy!! :D
Even if now i realise i have spent well over £200 i didn't need to  and have now 2 extra tickets for Block B!!

So delighted to see others on the forum in Row M --we'll have to arrange a Row M club!!
I bought my partner his proper Leonard hat for Christmas so glad he'll get a chance to wear it-- And before any of you in row N get worried you'll be OK! He'll follow normal LC etiquette and it will NOT be on throughout the concert . He IS quite tall but i'll make him slide as low as he can in the seat!! And at 5'2" i'll not block anybody's view!!
As i booked accommodation last night I'm all set to be with my 2 favourite men in the world on 31st July!!

Aido he say They're not great tickets for one who was up so early!!
That is for sure!! But hey there are two swallows sitting on my telephone wires having winged it in from South Africa last night, so who am I to complain about the vagaries of ticketing systems. I see CarlowMike has a few tickets for sale so I might get bartering.

I said the same on the previous page - amazing the number of fan club members that ended up in row M - looks like a lot of the rows forward of that have been held back
2008 - dublin (kilmainham - the best, ever)
2009 - dublin (The Point) and tampa and NY(MSG) and san jose
2010 - sligo (second best) and oakland and portland and las vegas
2011 - lenny and me were resting, so we were
2012 - dublin (kilmainham again) and austin
2013 - dublin (The Point, 2 times)
2014 & 2015-enjoying the memories and saving the pennies; just in case; just in case..............

Congratulations to everyone on their tickets for Sligo. It's just as well I'll be in Scotland that weekend as we have internet problems . ...have had for 2 weeks now and counting. At a download speed well short of the old dial up speeds, I can't even get the first Ticketmaster page to load, let alone try to buy a ticket. So until they find the problem I can only buy tickets for shows which go on sale before 8.30 am UK time on days I am in the office. Quite restricting but should make for some travel adventures over the summer!

Wendy

PS It took over 90 minutes to upload the last message. We're living in the dark ages here ....
