DISHONESTY

You strive to own me for awhile
Supported by the rank and file
Of souls that shelter deep within
Those opportunists dressed in sin
But truth and justice come to me
With contract talk of being free
They offer forth a condition clause
That I do no ills I break no laws
But this is not a cross to bear
For I have lived my life so rare
Being true and just with men
Hoping for one moment when
The same agreement relates to all
To rid the world of man’s false call
