“….you know what …..I bought a wonderful orchid yesterday. In the new garden center, Baumax….” my colleague Jane murmered, as she was typing some numbers into her Excel tables. “Must have been wonderful I guess” I uttered. Personally, I prefer orchids of poems from the Baumax ones. “and it was singing” Jane continued without stopping her typing job. I was alarmed. She is such a practical girl, not prone to listen to orchid songs. But soon I got carried away by the news of an enigmatic plant sound. ” So what was the sound like?” I asked eagerly…”A gentle pipe or distant voices of dead?”
“Hell it was distant. Pretty annoying in fact. I called the Baumax garden center and asked why are they selling such noisy flowers. I was preparing for a quiet conversational dinner with Steve you know…”
“…hey Jane…you heard the orchid singing and you complained?”
“Of course I complained, and pretty angrily….and you know what did a Baumax guy say? He said calm down lady that’s just a black widow spider vibrating…sometimes they get into the root system….now leave your flat immediately, we’re sending a commando…”
