god - little g
I celebrate my body
the strength in it and the softness of it.
I celebrate my arms and hands
the doing and the giving.
I celebrate my legs and feet,
they get me to where I want –
when I want – mostly.
I celebrate the love in my life
and the life from that love.
I celebrate with those I know,
And wonder about those who passed unknown
I celebrate big skies, multiple greens,
artistic clouds, sunshine kisses,
gorgeous moons, cooling breezes,
soaking rains and big storms
Learning from the sad and devouring the happiness
I am blessed
g thanks

Hi Vicki,I celebrate my arms and hands
the doing and the giving.
I enjoyed your poem, especially the first stanza. strength contrasted with softness, arms and hands with doing and giving.
Welcome

thank you - glad you enjoyed
the words were written after a short period of feeling sorry for myself
and then realising how much I did have to celebrate
