you have danced and weaved your soul in this life
and helped a few in their hour of strife
and become a father figure to us all
and accepted us all even after the fall from grace
your poetry and songs encapture time and space
and a humble and groaned and deepened nicotine voice
that make us sit up and notice
theres more to a waltz................
sing on, sing on and examine the faults
that frosted and cracked the hearts in the vaults
of the complicated ape with angel glands
you were never a flash in the pan
even when you wrote Im your man
you still maintained your legion of fans
and travelled and roamed with the tribe of dan!!

you have ruffled my life with the feather of forsee
and caused me to see past the deceptive crack
that humans will start to take a panic attack
of mystic of Juddah and the blue of Galilee
