this is a poem I wrote fairly recently, while I was thinking of Leonard's poem, The Street
I'm found in the night,
and I'm found on the street,
I'm often on this corner,
Where I heard you say,
We'd meet
The night hides us,
From each other,
and In the darkness,
We can call each other,
Lover
The Night
The Night

Re: The Night
why would they bother?

Re: The Night
I'm not sure I understand your question......this poem wasn't borne out of any deep revelation or rigorous thought, I just jotted it down and thought it sounded good:)
