New Poem by Harry Harpin

Post by Harry Harpin »

a sunset coloured red and blue
I sit outside and think of you
I think of the time we lay together
and I touched you with a touch
as light as a feather
I remember it as if
it was yesterday
and it was
(about half past four actually.)

Lesson One:

Twist it and turn it, however you must, to keep it rhyming, so it won't turn to dust.

well, I am disappointed by the reaction to my latest verse. In my opinion it is quite a lot better (more literate) than any other recent one posted on this forum.

In fact I isssue a challenge. I bet you wouldnt know if a poem I write is by me or Leonard Cohen!! I will post it under a new name and you will ahve to guess.
