Well, are we really waiting for an big piece of news coming from L.A. on a sunday morning ?

I'm afraid nothing will pop out until tomorrow ....
BUT, if it was about canceling the tour (which for anyone, in anycase might just happen) why wouldn't they just have announced 'the tour is canceled', instead of playing with our nerves like this.... (something will be told .... but what ?)
Therefore, i'd rather think it's something else ....
Did anyone see that the webb sisters have no forthcomming schedule on their webpage (whereas the tour 2010 is displayed on Roscoe beck 's (with this note : 'schedule is subject to change'...) or sharon Robinson's) ?
Does it mean .... something ?

IN the absense of definitive news from Jarkko this is becoming a place for hopes,fears and detective work! It is curious that the webb sisters have no tour listings . Does anyone know whether the tour dates had been listed on their web site and then taken off? Of all the 'Jarkko teases' of he last 2 glorious years this feels like the hardest to figure out . Can't be long now until we know, and patience is all we can try to exercise.

Travelling again – and desperately trying to take in the (none) news via a hotel internet connection.

I am totally baffled as the messages are so conflicting. The tenor of Jarkko’s “important news to come” message does not seem to bode well and he said that the announcement does not relate to new tour dates. In an earlier message yesterday he said that fans in Scandinavia would have to be EXTREMELY patient. The capitals may suggest that they will have to wait longer than was initially thought – or they may not.

I feel certain Jarkko would only have removed the tour dates and ticket links on AEG’s instructions – and yet the same dates and links are still there and fully operational on AEG’s own website. Why remove one set of links and leave the other? Meanwhile tickets to all the shows (including Zagreb) still appear to be available to buy apart from Moscow where the ticket websites describe ticket purchase as “blocked”. The French, Slovak and Polish promoters are still advertising their respective shows on their websites.

I can understand why Team Leonard might want to delay any negative or bad news until after the Grammys but why would an announcement be made - or press release issued – at a weekend anyway?

I have committed several hundred pounds to non-refundable travel arrangements so I hope the tour has not been pulled at this late stage for more reasons than just missing the shows. I can only hang on to the conviction that, if it IS the news we are waiting for, any cancellation or postponement of the March dates will be for very good and unavoidable reasons.

It would be for good and unavoidable reasons if that were to happen. Leonard has consistently treated us his fans with the utmost dedication and respect. Mabeanie remembers no doubt only too well Valencia (I almost bought her spare ticket) where the gentleman himself walked onstage despite feeling so rotten that about 20 minutes later he collapsed.

I too am very worried but I know that if it is a bad outcome it will be for a real reason.

A bit more detective work reveals that the Webb Sisters' Tour Dates page was last modified on 05 December 2009. The main page, which lists their January events in the States, was last modified on 09 December 2009. So I don't think that they have taken anything out of the Tour Dates page in the last few hours.

I imagine its probably a grand unveiling of a list of the tour dates or the new album to coincide with the Grammy's publicity. Gotta be good news either way me thinks!

Trouble with this theory is that Jarkko specifically said earlier in this thread "The announcement/press release we are waiting for is not about new concerts". It could be about a new album but that doesn't explain the disappearance of the tour dates from "The World Tour 2010" thread, and the announcement on the Forum and the Files that a statement will be issued yesterday or today.

My brain is aching.
