Bounderies (Revisited)

Post by George.Wright »

On a lonely island, surrounded by a fiery lava sea
sitting on a pinacle of wisdom, where only wisdom should be
and oh to have a bridge to cross this hot and deep divide
the lava's really not molten, it has petrified deep inside
and sleep is the bridge or communicator to cross this great unknown source
the Apollo of the Gods and the ultimate distorter of truth, of course
and only if we could tap awake, the ice from the hidden berg
our knowledge would infinitely increase and our understanding would surely surge
and would this have stopped the wars and the dreaded purge?
just to hold a piece of the tree of knowledge
bought in a bazaar in a mystical collage
with the guarantee to be genuine, not a fake
and to bless the holder with the knowledge to be free
gathered from the aura of that piece of fabled tree
and who knows that this is not true?
the apple's hormones could just seep into you
and collectively influence the workings of your mind
for the benefit of man and all mankind
just to glimpse, just to glimpse, clearly, the secret's behind sleeps veil
like the virgin unknown bride before the lovely face is revealed
Time and sleep are the levellers that keeps knowledge behind the mask
All the collective understandings are secreted in the vaults of the esoteric past

George

The adjectives and adverbs have undone you
Keep to the nouns and verbs like action men do
There more lava flowing from you, yes or no
Than from the tropical island smoking volcano

The Boundary is only limited by imagination
Please another vision, a present day version
You must know the guy who wrote the bible
He like yourself was always cruel to people

The Pope
The Vatican-can
Rome

Bless you my son
