....although I don't think you are as half as inventive as the maths teacher I met in that pub in Wales...now he was good

Although I usually carry a camera around I very rarely bother using it...especially on Cohen related trips when we are always surrounded by super duper photographers who always kindy upload their work onto the forum.
However I have just checked the few snaps I did take and I shall post up a few in the next day or so....first off the one that shows the look of sheer disbelief on Joe and Ann's face when the Welsh Elvis took to the stage...or was it when tinders gave us her interesting and certainly very unique recitation...whichever it was either Elvis or tinders going by the look on Paula's face I think she has seen it all before...well she does live in London after all....ta ken....

here's another of that maths teacher who was passing himself off as Mr Peter Needham by signing copies of Mr Needham's excellent book 'The Diamond's Mine...which I can throughly recommend......although I have to admit the imposter sang some wonderful and very personal versions of a number of LC's songs....ta ken

....don't how long it's been happening for but if you click on these images they will open up in a larger size

I love your little stories with all your photos Ken... worth waiting for.
I am almost finished reading the Diamond's Mine and it is hilarious. I have to say, I picture our Paula when I am reading it. I think she would just look like her.

Pete I loved your adaptation of the Runaway Train

What happened to the poor sods on the train Kwills I swear we did nothing to harm that train.

Pete is far too talented his book is great and his singing is lovely (keep talking, keep talking) 8)

That is a really nice picture of Henning and Christoph I have never heard that saying Ken but it applies to sisters too

I loved Tinders poetry reading corner and I think we ought to do it more often with Pete giving alternative titles for the poems I don't know what made me laugh more Bernie reciting or Pete renaming.

Judy got the CD today thank you xxxxx

You can all rest assured that I will not be repeating that poetry session at the meet up in Dublin.... I blame it on the beer that Ewan poured me :) . Thankfully, no one videoed it for posterity :)

By the way... this little souvenir of Leonards tour will be with me till my dying day.

Tinders you are branded! If you ever fall over and get knocked out, people will know to return you here 8) .

The fun never ends in this thread. There are also three albums coming out...

Well, they are kind of intangible albums. More like memories...

We have made a secret pact never to reveal the full sinister details of what actually happened on that train of the afternoon of Saturday, 12th September 2009.

Sometimes I wake in the middle of the night in a cold sweat...but that's something completely different

This train story could end up as a Hollywood blockbuster. The plot gets thicker all the time. And by the way, Judy wasn't on the train. And Sinikka was. I think it was Paula who broke it though. Phil was going to take the train, but they didn't serve eggs. One other point: how did kwills know the train broke down?

I have been playing with some Barmouth pics:

Ha! super sleuth kwills found out after having to revive some "poor sods",who had been starving for having been stuck up a mountain for too long.
According to one or two of them, the mountain police are looking for some rowdy group of people, in particular a suspicious looking blond woman who tried to keep her face hidden in her hands, last seen careering down the mountain side on Saturday 12th of September.Unfortunately for her the sound of her screaming only brought more attention to herself. In fact eye witness accounts are not sure if it was screaming or demented laughter! 8)

Poor Paula, having to put up with us making fun of her dislike of heights. I bet she's wishing she'd just nicked a few glasses instead.

Miss Diane,
Sorry to have to correct you on this fine day but this all happened on the train going up the mountain..it started sliding down the track and then it all went astray. We did manage to dust ourselves down though and with Ken having stopped the train going all the way to the bottom we climbed back in in an orderly fashion, recommenced our ascent and then met you all at the top. We didn't want to make a fuss. Judy was a little shaken though and thus opted to walk back down. Sinnika took a later train down the mountain because she didn't trust the brakes on ours.
Yours, putting the record straight
Pete

p.s great photos by the way..I like the prints in the sand
