I thought I heard Tom's name mentioned too between Jarkko and Patrice but it got a bit drown out.

Henning I would put that on my CV "References: Leonard Cohen".

Is that Indiania Jones at the front of your picture Diane

Now that the dust has settled after a couple of weeks, I want to say thank you to Tim and Diane for all their hard work in bringing a terrific group of people together in a beautiful part of the country.
Their expertise even ran to arranging perfect weather. I have no doubt that the weekend will remain a permanently joyFULL memory for all of us.
I can look back with the words of Anne Bronte...

Farewell to Thee! but not farewell
To all my fondest thoughts of Thee;
Within my heart they still shall dwell
And they shall cheer and comfort me.

My thanks to all of you.

Hi Everyone

Wow Wow Wow What a great time you all seem to have had in Barcelona (apart from the flight home Marg. and Dave) and on top of Barmouth!!!

The bonding of souls across the world through the music, Barmouth , Barcelona, the mountains, the laughter. The love is amazing.

Mr Cohen ? Only heard his name before Barmouth. ( What!! I hear you all say ) Now having listened to his music can understand the passion people feel for his words. They delve deep within ourselves and bring out the love ,spirit, determination and compassion of life that was shown in Barmouth.

Thank you all with special thanks to Dave (I would not have got up Snowden without your encouragement). John and Marg for inviting me ( Marg for choosing that heavenly location beside the lake )

I’m really appreciating the photos ..as my camera battery died and I was unable to capture those stunning mountain views.

I would love to keep in touch and be included on any future events

Lovely post, Linda:-)

Byron I should thank you for allowing me to interrupt your evenings and bend the ear of your good lady a few times in the run up to this weekend. Margaret did much, but she keeps quiet and modest about it, like Tim.

And as you come to mention Dave, Linda, he was very helpful, too. The only trouble with him was that every time I went to collect my ipod from him, I couldn't get past the queue of female members of our group outside his door. What was that all about, then?

Paula, there are five of the group in that pic, but I was trying to spot you...

I now know it was Sinikka who nicked my hat (also seen in Christoph's train photo):

Every time I try to post in this thread I get signed out and lose it:-( Hooray, at last!
