A ravenous rendezvous
Of insatiable lust
Kiss the rattlesnake
And poison your trust

Is it our nature to desire more that which is partially possessed and less that which is completely grasped or is it just Venus up to his/her dirty tricks .

I actually got the idea for this poem after reading a quote which said "We can resist everything but temptation". I think desire is intrinsic to human nature. Even if we know it's destructive, curiosity serves as the ultimate temptation.
