Durham Show Posts

Post by taylorneel »

Well, I'm new here, but a qualified fan. I've got second row seats for the Durham show and could not be happier. I'm seeing the show 3 days after I run my first 1/2 marathon and 20 days before my 40th birthday. This is the most awesome birthday present I could get.

Hoping to hear more from others attending the Durham NC show.

Hoping that we can show Leonard a good North Carolina time!

Well, I'm new here also. I was lucky enough to get tickets today (Section C Row 3). I've been a major Leonard fan since the 1970's and seeing him in concert (which I thought I would never have the opportunity) was like the holy grail of concerts! I was blessed to be able to see him in Columbia, Maryland in May. Now twice in one year!!!

I've been reading in posts about getting into the venues early for a meet & greet with the band. Can anyone out there tell me how this works? Thanks.

I'm glad you got tickets also. I'm telling you we are going to have a GREAT time in Durham. You can't begin to imagine how awesome this man is in concert!

Hey there guys,

It looks like Durham will be the one concert for me this fall. My wife and I will be in row 1 seats 101-102. Meetup before/after anyone?
(And tibbyfrog -- missed you in Columbia in May, one thing for sure: Durham won't be nearly as freezing!)
See you soon!

Rule #1: Be patient. We have to wait for any announcements from Jarkko.
Rule #2: Be patient. Don't bug Jarkko.
Rule #3: Don't break Rule #1 and Rule #2 :D

I don't suppose 'the band' includes LC himself.

You are correct, and even the band is not guaranteed. But don't give up hope: it seems that Leonard is still extremely gracious and generous with his time during chance encounters with fans, you could be next.

This restaurant gets good review. Looks to be close to the DPAC...
Anyone with any reviews of their own.
We're thinking of eating here pre-show.
