electricity, magnets and mathematics will create a time machine
and the mystics will squabble and continue to dream
where does time begin and time end?
does counting it, send you around the bend?
as you watch the death of family and your best friends
a defusing of energy and life and the snuff of a candle
a mystic on the bloodied cross, with a torn sandal
and the belief of many and sunder
that bad news comes in threes and the peal of divine thunder
will disappear in misty time and come alive
as loud as the groans and the death sighs
if his energy was lost on the cross?
who powered the android seen after the loss?
was it not here and not there?
or being mortal, that causes the death scare?
