I had fun trying to translate the titles before listening. Only figured out 3 (2 obvious, of course). I apologize for my ignorance, but I had never heard of this artist before so it was a pleasure to become familiarized with his voice. Thank you.

Jan Erik has released three albums with nothing else but Leonard's songs in Swedish. More here:

He is also a great live performer whose interpretations we have enjoyed at the big LC Events in Montreal (2000),
Hydra (2002), New York (2004), and Berlin (2006). We hope to have him again next year in Krakow!

do you happen to know whether the Lundqvist CDs are still available somewhere? They would be a PERFECT gift for my dad, who has studied in Sweden in the late 60s and is a huge Leonard fan, but has certain difficulties understanding all the lyrics because his English is not that good... This might help a lot, though!

Dear Jarkko,

thanks so much - the first volume of Lundqvist singing Cohen arrived yesterday. I made it a surprise for my dad - and what can I say? It has turned out that he indeed never knew that Lundqvist has done any Cohen translations... And now, my father is completely swept away and won't stop listening! And he wants me to say "thank you" from him as well...
