Death and Rebirth

Post by George.Wright »

I am writing this for thee
for i am past the dying and the free
into the darkened night
only seen by those with the gift of the second sight
into the gases of time
where i must again join the line
trying to be born again
and the record that never lies
that great big damned record in the sky
that can seek truth over the beauty's disguise
and can distinguish the bravado from the lies
teaches us in our choices of the rebirth
that will enable us to progress on the learning ground of the earth
back once again into a chosen mother's girth
and down the tunnel of love
from the tunnel of death and the holy dove
that flies over the heaven and the risen's reflection
you were never counting on that spy's defection
back again into the mortal's reserection
Georges

Can't we be serious for a moment?

Four fantastic fugues, Georges
Fatalistic forays into full-fledged futility

Now, is it res-erection
or resurrection?

Thank you so much for these
They elucidate and minister to my mood.

Hey Babz! :D
Long time no see, your literate lucidity.
Hmm, I kinda wondered 'bout that one too; but sometimes like the puns/ambiguity (intentional/not).

Love,

George

A rather out of body experience, you're taking poetry to an other dimension.

Its really good.

Hello babz. Article in today's newspaper. Reference punctuation and T shirts, as follows:
On the front of the lady's T shirt is " A Woman, Without Her Man, Is Nothing "
On the back of the T shirt is " A Woman: Without Her, Man Is Nothing "

This comes from a new book by Lynne Truss. "Eats, Shoots and Leaves."

From Cecilly Roberts, a Technical Author. The following two sets of words are identical, but........

Dear Jack:
I want a man who knows what love is all about. You are generous, kind, thoughtful. People who are not like you admit to being useless and inferior. You have ruined me for other men. I yearn for you. I have no feelings whatsoever when we're apart. I can be forever happy - will you let me be yours?
Jill.

Yours, Jill.

Ain't grammar great?
"Bipolar is a roller-coaster ride without a seat belt. One day you're flying with the fireworks; for the next month you're being scraped off the trolley" I said that.

Hi M & B, G & B, et al.
I've been travelin' :)

Georges, give up your poetry?
Good g-d, man, don't be absurd!
You have an incomparable gift
Not to use it would be irresponsible.
There! Do you feel scolded?
Are you needing encouragement?
I know many here would provide it
at the least word from you!

Wonderful example, Byron.
Even knowing ahead of time
what to expect, it was still surprising.

Good to see all you folks again.

Babz
One's life has value so long as one attributes value to the life of others, by means of love, friendship, indignation, and compassion.
