The Life of LC on RTE 1

There will be a piece on LC on today's News at One on Irish Radio RTE1 between 1 and 2 pm. I would say that it will be broadcast towards the end of the news programme. The announcement of the contents of the programme (The Life of Leonard Cohen) mentioned his ability to achieve sell-out concerts at his age.

Thanks for posting the link and the alert. Would have missed it otherwise. Now I'm wondering about the interview clips with Leonard Cohen. Anyone any ideas on who was interviewing or when? Maybe RTE will play in the run up to the concerts? Anyone got any ideas on it?

He only need come to this forum, read some of these postings to see how important and significant his work is in the lives of individuals!

They said after the item that the interviews were from the archives in RTE. The interviewer was Ken Stuart, who was a music journalist here way back when!! . My guess is the interview was done around the time of his 1988 tour, or even earlier. And that probably answers YOUR question Mary, ie the forum wasn't around then.!!He mightn't say that now.
