Lizzy,

I'm with imaginary friend. Your Quebec City story is one of legend! Will write more to you later about this. I had quite an experience in Montreal during the 1967 Expo but I don't think it's exactly for family viewing 8) ;-) 8)

How exciting and romantic (in the true sense of the word) your experience was! I'm Canadian and I've never even been to Quebec City. I will have to alter that this coming year!

It leaves me with dreams for the evening.....
Bon Soir,
Diana

ps..your explanation of how to pronounce "Quebec" is PERFECT.....dead on!

oops...off the thread. Back on the thread. Let's teach Fred how to say certain words in French! For Mary it would be "je t'aime Mama"....or "je t'adore" but usually guys don't get that mushy with their Mom. I'm trying to think of how to say "I want a banana" but for some reason I can only think of it in German! That won't work in Quebec!

Oh, Hey, I.F. ~ It so great to see you here! I am so glad you and Diana liked my story and your takes on it :D . My Secret Life ~ ha  . I like that. My Secret Life in Quebec City 8) . Fred will be having his own very soon, too... am really looking forward to those photos! My time in Quebec City was magical... the city just is... and I know I didn't even begin to scratch the surface of all that was there.

Thank You, Diana, for your confirmation of my pronunciation of it. How dreadful it would've been to give someone a wrong one. And I can't wait for your Montreal Expo [and that could be short for... what ;-) ?]... and, back to Q.C., yes... you will have to alter that!

Bon soir,
[oh, I like that]

Just LOOK at all these Monkey emoticons appearing now 8) . I tried to copy Davido's ~ hungry as ever, licking on a sucker :) [Mollydog's hadn't appeared, yet] and even though I was able to click on Copy, when it was time to Paste, the word was greyed out... impossible.

And who is that with Fred there?? And what are they doing, anyway... reading each other's mind?

Hydriot and Lizzy,

The Monkey was on line and didn't give us a picture :o :? ? What does he want from us? Maybe he doesn't want Fred to have to compete with Davido's and Mollydog's oh so cute monkeys. Never fear Fred - you are still the cutest !

We are so faithful and always eager and patient for just a glimpse of Fred. Give us a crumb pleeeease!

Anticipatory regards,
Mary

Tony - I hope you are not running out of puns, they had me      .

Diana - so glad to hear you're on board with the bananas  ! But remember, Fred said he likes it when 'women tear their blouses off'. Gotta keep Fred happy

Lizzy -

Right click on Davido's Monkey emoticon, choose "Save Picture As....", and then save the emoticon to your hard drive in whatever directory you normally use to save images.

(this offered "like a worm on a hook" in case Fred is reading this and in case a tailor is reading this:)

a. Fred, what is your chest size + length of t-shirt size?

b. Any tailor: could you make a t-shirt for Fred with the image of the cd "I'm Your Man" (with either I'm Your Man or I'm Your Fan) on it?

Hi Relate,

Well, I don't know whose voice that was in the last few seconds (weird!) BUT, I absolutely loved the video...and Leonard's singing it to Irving Layton! How awesome is that :D :D :D We all know Leonard has a great sense of humor which is so evident here...he is enjoying himself immensely

If he ever gets tired of touring I'm sure he could get a job with Chiquita Banana ;-) :D And Fred could be their mascot!

Thank SO SO much for sharing!

Hi A.Sukitu,

What a delightful idea! Perhaps Fred's "Mom", Mary, might have some idea of his measurements! I saw him in person but didn't get quite that intimate to find out his shirt size and doubt I could help with a t-shirt as I have trouble sewing on a button  But, I know within our huge community there must be many who are so gifted! Love it..."I'm Your Man". You've given me my smile for the morning! :D

Relate,
That's a great video. Thanks. Proving once again (if needed) that Leonard sure knows his bananas. :D
As for Fred, I'm sorry I missed him online. But I'd say the little guy knew what he was doing going on tour with a group of banana lovers. :D I just hope he gets his fair share. :D
There was a group called Bananarama in the 80s. Not sure if they're still around, but if they are ,let's keep the news from Fred, or we might loose our monkey link to Leonard, :D

Hmmm
Whatever about Fred's Mom, by the look of that last pic of Fred, I'd say that whoever's holding him has a pretty good idea of his measurements. :D (Sorry Mary, I know it's tough to see your little guy grow up so soon, but hey that's rock and roll) :D :D :D
And here's a suggestion for the T shirt ,how about "I'm not your man, I'm your monkey." :D ?
