Looking at the second Victoria photo. Were you guys sequestered in the Days Inn or something like that?! I recognize the Sooke Hills, a bit of the inland waterway and the street outside...looks like Days Inn or Travelers Inn to me. Was everyone else in the Empress! I know Fred won't answer but just curious.

You are so correct! I'm sure Fred's smile will not diminish! There are MANY men with the band and crew, but not so many women. Sharon, the Webb sisters, that lovely gal that comes out at the end and stands next to Dino, and I'm sure a few others. However, Fred was taught to appreciate the ladies (as his master, Leonard, does) and I know he must be quite the little gentleman. You ARE, aren't you Fred? I know you little monkeys sometimes have your moments....

If you are right and the picture was taken out of a hotel room window then this answers another question that's been bugging me: Fred is traveling in the tour bus (or in someone's luggage) not tucked away in one of the equipment boxes. Whew... what a relief.

Ha. I just haaaaad to stop back one more time before bed to check on Fred. You're right, brightnow, that is what that means. Somehow, I had never considered the possibility of his just being stuck in an equipment box. Nooooooo... Fred is traveling first class with the first-classiest group on earth. His ancestors would be so awed, seeing how evolved it's all become, with Fred being treated like a King by humans! It's really kinda hard to imagine that he's not one... our little Monkey.

At least none of us have gotten too upset with Freddie's absence... remember how our parents used to get soooooo mad when we got home soooooo late, but it was only because they were so relieved that we were okay and still around to get mad at? Well, I know I feel better, knowing I can relax with all the care we can see our Freddie's getting . A world class monkey, our little guy.

Quebec City!?! You're going to Quebec City?? I haven't looked at your itinerary lately, I see [no money can do that to ya... nothing you need to worry about, Fred... it's a human thing.] When that time comes, I hope they'll remember to be careful and watch that you don't slip outta their hands, down one of those curving streets, and into one of those narrow doors that open up into one of those magnificent restaurants! Oh, Fred... you are going to LOVE QUEBEC CITY!!! Such a beautiful backdrop for your beautiful self!!! [I mean handsome!!! Beautiful is sometimes one of those words that gets used both ways, Fred... not to worry, just another human thing.]

Glad to see Fred is enjoying his time on the road. Last night in Seattle, I was able to meet Dino and Rafael - but I was so flustered by some kinds words that I completely forgot to ask about Fred! It's beautiful here, I'm sure he's enjoying his time. As for us, it's back to reality and heading back home. Sigh...

I saw that thumb... but it's a left-handed thumb... and the right hand [with its right-handed thumb] is around Fred's neck... [which I've heretofore avoiding commenting on... I did take an extra breath on Fred's behalf when I saw it, though .] The colour and texture, shape of the fingers and fingernails appear to be the same on both of those hands... at least to me. So, having seen those two, what would be the third one that I missed ? I'm trying, bv, I'm trying...
