I recently bought a European Tour Book 1988 on eBay. When I opened the treasure I noticed that on the inside of the cover are the USA/Canada tour dates
I went to the concert in Amsterdam in April 1988 but being a student in those days I did not have (enough) money for the Tour Book. Now I have the tour book, but no European dates....
Does anyone know if the 1988 tour in the US/Canada was also called European Tour, or is it a misprint, or what?

My own programme from this tour lists the European dates on the inside of the cover, starting in Frankfurt (Rheingoldhalle) on 5 April and continuing through the rest of April and May. The final date on the tour was Dublin on Saturday, 4 June at the (National Boxing) Stadium. As far as I recall there were two performances in Dublin that evening. I was at the early show which started around 6.00pm. I hope this information is of some help to you.

I visited one of the two gigs in Amsterdam 18-19 April 1988.
I can't remember which one, but that doesn't matter: I was there more than 20 years ago.
BTW: two performances at one night in several cities in 1988. WOW
