The Field of Flowers
The flowers have all died
In the field fired at sunrise
Like youre dreams that wilted
Your mind so far away

You travel a road made from dirt
The flowers try to heal the hurt
Theyve poisoned the air that you breathe
Do you think it will heal the time that you spend all alone

You stand in a shadow unable to be seen
Picking flowers that have already died
In a field where your dreams have all gone
You open your eyes and see what is done
The flowers all smiling at you

Is all this real or just a dream
Standing in the field waiting for the flowers to heal
The past that never as there
A sound you will never hear
