mentality

Post by elazar »

pandering play-things disjointed
discarded tears from the basement
rotted wormwood rocking chair
i stare and i stare

these heirlooms don't inquire
they invade apon me seamlessly
insanity is hereditory they say
if so then its a deal

young arrogance surroundings
some stroke of luck and some stealth
i know i am too serious with myself
though my analyzation skills
have deminished

scraped paint and scoured skin
naked bulb reveals dark corners
sparsly grassed and even that withered
even echos can't breath in my head

thanks makera!
i know its not original, but i think by the time i leave i will have enough material to write something that goes "the tale of two citys..the archrivalry between melbourne and sydney".literaly everyone from sydney deplores melbourne and vise versa, that i have spoken to.maybe deplores isnt a strong enough word in some cases and too harsh in others but the stigma remains.

Elazar~
See, I told ya, Melbournites are just jealous! Sydney's got The Bridge, the Opera House, the Harbour, the weather, the beaches, the Monorail....and the clincher? Beat 'em to host the 2,000 Olympics!
What's Melbourne got? Trams, Aussie Rules football, and the Melbourne Cup (horse race) once a year.

Well, never having been to either, you're making a pretty good case for Sydney, Makera :) . Unless Melbourne drags out some natural splendour[s], therein or nearby, or some serious, underground, arts activities, Sydney seems to be what's happening.
