You left so sudden
No time for goodbyes
Rushing off to deep
Chasing away the grey

the memories.
You forgot your dreams
and your smell.

I still remeber
the way you spoke
and yes, is still
recall your laughter

so when you left
without farewell
when you had no
time for goodbyes...

I'll do my best
I'll try to live
i must forget
so

Your poem captures the suddenness of the departure itself. A shock to the system and the psyche that such partings bring.

yes...it is a very sad poem for me. Somewhat connected with personal experience somewhat made up. But we have to move on whatever way we use to do it...

Yes, Greta......you could see the personal had to be in there, at least somewhere. I'm sorry to hear of that part. Moving on can be so difficult.
