the cold stone gigantic hand of fate lay exposed in the sand
like the Shelly poem, the master masons of the best in the land
the architectural creations have remained, the rest are damned
exposed by the sea of the devil's triangle, the infinity of the ancients and their plans
oh civilisations of the created!
and the sea has abated
golden fleeces over the stone of the lamb
and the statues remain silent, like the faces of Easter island slammed
into the earth of plenty and green
and the ideas of the sleeping prophet are just a dream
the wisdom of the ancients are just a scheme
testiments to the power of the loss
that metaphysically carried across the junctions of the cross
the little men are not aliens, there the boss
that taught man the secret of fire
and ensured he would end up in a funeral pyre
and we listened to the godly notes of the secret lyre
that suggested the word and made man the liar
asteroids colliding in space and bursting into fire
man desiring the secret's of the holy desire
and the implanting of the first ape
was akin to stealing the first holy grape
into our subconcious like an iceberg
the great liner went down
with it's wealth and ornateness like a rich town
and the mermaids do titter around the hand
that lay exposed yet secret in the golden sands
