I got tickets OK In the same row as you select the number of tickets is a blank where you insert the password.

The password was fine. They have changed it from the previous shows, so maybe you didn't use the correct password. It didn't seem to be case sensitive, as I used all lower case.

BTW I am not convinced you get the best seats in a presale. I still have another 5 to get, and I will be interested to see if I get better seats in the public sale.

Can anyone help me figure out whats up? I am confused with the presale for oakland. Ive been trying since 10am and keep getting a null response. Was there a limited amount of tix?, all sold out by 10.05?, is there a different password, Ive tried various combos of the given "hat" one. Thanks.

Hi all, I've been trying to buy two tickets through the Detroit Fox Theatre Pre-Sale, but I keep coming up with a null response. Does anyone know if the tickets are already sold out or whether the password has been changed? Anxious in Ann Arbor, Elliot G

It would seem they are gone -- but I would suggest you keep trying --- someone may have submitted multiple orders & their tix get thrown back in -- it could happen!

What row are your tickets in? I'm really curious how many tickets were available in Oakland for today's presale, since it sold out in about 10 minutes and the seats I got were in row OO in the back.

FWIW - there are VIP seats in the 3rd row for $549/ea.

Just thrilled here, your password this morning worked like a charm, no glitches with the ticket provider and was able to score two great seats, close enough to see them sweat. One thing I will pass on to the rest of you is, if possible, find a seating chart of the venue with accurate rows and numbers prior to logging into the vendor. As you see the availablity of the seats the vendor is offering you, check the seating chart to see where you are in relation to the stage. What happened here was their first offering was in the very last balcony of the facility, as I did not care for their choice, I backed out of the site and tried again, actually repeated this step 9 times until the beauties I currently have were made available for purchase. Naturally there is an air of apprehension that goes with this process as everytime for the first 5 or 6 tries I was being pushed further back into the rafters. However keep your cool, it is worth the few minutes it takes to land some seats that really should have been offered first as I used the " best available at any price " option with our vendor. Not sure why it worked out that way, perhaps someone has the answer? jarkko, you're the best, it wouldn't have been possible without you, thanks.

Other "Internet presale"?

Post by nologo »

I got shut out of the Oakland presale this morning. Yet the Ticketmaster page lists another "Internet presale" date on Friday. Does anyone know if any passwords will be required for this, or upcoming Internet presale for other L.C. shows? A quick scan of a few other dates showed other types of presales. Thanks...

Those typically have passwords. They might be sent out to people who are on the mailing list for the promoter (e.g. LiveNation, AEG, etc.), or maybe are tied to a tour sponsor (e.g. BestBuy's presales for the recent Police tours).

Start googling.

Friends,

Live in SF and I completely botched getting the tickets for the 4.13 Oakland performance. No problems with the password, but made a second attempt at 10:06am and it was over. So, I just went at 8:30pm to check out the San Diego show on 4.07 using the password and got lucky, purchased a single ticket $189, decent (not great) floor seat. Of course, I'll have to fly down and spend the night, but it's worth it, right? I did want to take any more chances with the Am Ex opportunity tomorrow morning, but gonna try that as well. This is a once in a life time opportunity for me (us) to see a great artist, so no lattes for a month and I turn 39 in April - so happy birthday to me!
