Sure would have been nice if things worked properly and according to plan.
Hi Walsh,

Actually there were only so many seats allotted for the fan pre-sale, not all seats at the Fox. There are still a couple more pre-sales before tickets are open to the general public. Think one is for "friends and family" and the other is for another group. So, seats are open in each price range for each pre-sale and still others in each price range are held for the public offering. It is possible that on the 2nd you could end up somewhere in the first few rows. Good luck!

First off... Thank you so much to Jarkko! I managed to get two tickets to the Calgary show!

My question is... I would also like to get a second pair of tickets for my parents. If I purchase another set on the release date will it cancel the order I put in today? Is the 2 ticket limit just on the fan club presale? Or does the limit apply to the whole show?

Please help!

Thanks!

Paula, thanks for the note and the help - seems it is best to use a more main stream browzer than Opera!! Good news though I got 2 tickets which are terrific. Can't wait for 'lonely as heaven on a Saturday night' And thanks to Jacko also.

Jarkko and Leonard fans--

Thank you for this wonderful forum and opportunity.

No problems with purchasing tickets for the Waterbury, CT date -- though when I logged-in at 10AM sharp, apparently no tickets were available for the orchestra or loge. I doubt that I would have purchased these high-price seats anyway, as I attended the Beacon show and also plan to be at Radio City. But I wonder how/why all the "best" tickets were unavailable from the start.

As it is, I snagged a decent seat in the center of the lower mezzanine — but about 7 rows back.

Cheers,

Gord

Info for contents of Winnipeg 30 April 2009 VIP Package tickets.

I managed to get hold of TM in Winnipeg to clarify what would be included in the VIP Package tickets at 549.00CAD each.
Here is their response:

1. Special "reserved seat"
2. Copy of the Live London DVD
3. A Souvenier Tour Program
4. A Tour Print

As for a "reserved seat" I was under the impression that is what I got when I purchase a ticket anyway. I mean you have a seat and row number !
I presume she meant that a "reserved seat" in this case means that these seats are allocated to purchase only with the VIP package and a "normal" ticket
search (i.e. "best available seating") would not include these seats in the search.

As for the Live DVD I don't know if it is in production all ready or if this is the upcoming release slated for March (sorry but TM operator had to contact her supervisor
for info and communication was "difficult" to say the least).

What is NOT included:
1. There is no dinner and
2. No parking with this offer.

There you have it - hope this saves someone else the 90 minutes it took me to get this info ;-)
And to Jarkko a big, big thank you!

Enjoy the show everyone

Thank you Jarkko and the team! I got my tickets for Vancouver. Saw Leonard in Montreal last June and am still raving about that show. Can't wait to see him again in April! Thanks again!

Sadly, the San Diego ticketing page has been coming up blank since well before 10:00. Not terribly surprised though, since this is the third time I've had problems with a presale involving this venue and ticketmaster.

Glad to see the others are going fairly smooth! Hopefully this one gets resolved quickly... otherwise, it's luck of the draw when all tickets go public =(

Either way, from a very old fan, thanks so much for the opportunity!

SEATTLE: So, my wife and I were ready with our credit cards at 10AM to buy the best seats in the house, and considering the "unknown" $500 VIP package, depending on where the seats were. We had practiced on the Ticketmaster website so that we were fast, and were refreshing until 10AM when the sale became live.
Our first two tickets for best available (and the ones we ended up purchasing for $100) are in the center section C, row 20. With my wife on the other computer trying for VIP, the first two tickets at the same time were in the center section, row 11.

We purchased the $100 tickets, thinking that 9 rows away is not worth an extra $800 for the two of us!

10 minutes later, you could still purchase VIP tickets in the center section Row 11, and the non-VIP best available were trickling backwards into side sections and rows further back, still $100 each.

Here are the questions:
What happened to rows 1-10? They appear to be unavailable at any price.
What happened to rows 11-19 - are they all VIP?
What happened to the $250 tickets that even the Ticketmaster website listed?

We were truly expecting to pay $250 apiece and sit in the very front rows.

Even with my questions, THANK YOU for making it possible to get tickets and avoid the NY sell-out shenanigans!

David and Rebekah,
Seattle.

The Oakland presale starts tomorrow, according to ticketmaster.

edit: but their page shows fan club tickets as being available... ? I hate ticketmaster.

I missed the tickets in Calgary (by a couple of minutes!) but will try the Best Buy presale. I'm half tempted to get an American Express Card too ;) If anyone has any other ideas that would be welcome :)

Best Buy Presale info is here: https://www.bestbuyrewardzone.ca/en/fif ... Code=PO357
