Special Concert in New York

Ah yes, I can appreciate that. Well, it's a distinct possibility if indeed he did spend a few days relaxing on Hydra as I doubt he and the band need to do much rehearsing for the NY concert. Heck, what was that old saying about we'd be happy just to listen to him read the phonebook

Meanwhile i wish you a fantastic concert in New York.
When I remember the ones in Holland I still see him right before my eyes, intensely and yet zenly, even more (if possible) within the words and the songs then about 20 years ago. I think. Or I am more open to it than I was then. I`ll never forget. But so very much hope to repeat the experience. Once... Is this addiction?
Well, so what, it enriches my life deeply.

My son saw Leonard this afternoon in Athens Airport!..... I was so jealous. he must be in the air on his way back to the States for friday night.

Yikes - I hope he's back in the States for THURSDAY night. That's when my Beacon ticket is for! Friday night I'll be on my way back home again .....

Hmm. I was told some months ago that Suzanne Elrod was planning to vacate Leonard's house and retire to Florida this winter, so perhaps Leonard was taking formal control of it again. What a nice thought.

But he was in Athens airport on monday afternoon so more than enough time for him to be In NY by thursday.
I wish I was flying over to see him but I won't be greedy as I had that pleasure a lot in 2008 and I am sure he will come back to us in 2009.............. he seems to me to be a bit like Benjamin Button... he just keeps getting younger and younger all the time.

Have a brilliant time everyone and looking forward to seeing all the photos and reading all the wild reports when its all over.

This would be wonderful news! Perhaps it might mean that Leonard plans on spending more time on Hydra. Like in the middle of June??

With only hours to go before your concert, from the thousands of Leonard's fans in Australia, may this be the most memorable night. Leonard spent the past month with us and we wish we were there with you in New York tonight. We were amazed and we hope you will be as well.

I endorse the thoughts of Mikeaus on behalf of the fans in the U.K.
If tonight is as good as Edinburgh you are in for a real treat.
If it is as good as Birmingham you will be amazed.
If it is as good as Dublin it will be totally fantastic .
If it is as good as the last night at the Manchester Arena it will be absolutely unbelievable, and I am sure fans who attended other venues would add their recommendations as well. Whatever anybody thinks is the best concert, one thing is certain, tonight will be a night not to be missed and a concert never to be forgotten!

Oh, Deborah - I am so sorry that you have had such a wonderful night spoilt by a shameless T-Shirt thief who will no doubt put your shirts on ebay at ridiculous prices. I bought a Leonard shirt in Oberhausen, Germany, and left it under my chair during the interval, too - and, rather foolishly, my money as well; but fortunately, nothing happened... Mere good luck, I guess, although you would probably not think of other Leonard fans as thieves... But then, you would not expect some of them to try and make a fortune re-selling their tickets, either, would you (and I am not speaking of forum members here!)? I hope you will be able to trace the shirts...
