I'll be there for the pre-show, with three other gals, though probably not afterwards. I might shyly introduce myself to you, Lizzy.

Hi All,

There's an outside possibility of my being able to attend the Post Concert
Meetup at O'Hurley's. Being able to get to NY on the night of the concert
is so questionable (commitments in another state) that I didn't try to
get tickets for the concert. But, if I can make it to O'Hurley's, it'd be
good to meet those that'll be there with post-concert glows on their
faces. Also, if there are any meetups scheduled the following evening,
please put the details here. Anyone have any guess as to what time
the NY concert might end?

Very many thanks Dick and Linda for taking the time to find what sounds like the ideal spot for our post concert meet up - plenty of space and plenty of time! I am so looking forward to what will also be my first trip to the Big Apple. Can't wait to see all the sights and to meet everybody, both old and new friends. I think Helen (sister) might be looking forward to it a little bit too 8)

Hi Sheila... It seems there may be several people coming who will be experiencing their first time either in America or in New York City. A little advice. I have checked the future forecast for New York on the dates in question and it seems that light snow and temps around 32F (0C) are predicted. This should not be bad as the forecasters have said nothing about wind or icing or awful stuff like that. Just make sure you pack a few woolies. Mid-February in England or in Europe (depending on the area) can sometimes be quite nice and a little spring-like. The eastern US can be very changeable at this time so just make sure you have a sweater on hand :D

Looking forward to meeting you!

All the best,
Diana

Thank you for the reminder. I have been to NYC (and the east coast of Canada) several times in February and March and I can vouch for the cold, especially the chill factor coming off the water. However, we have had no spring like February in England or Ireland this year! It's snowed alomost every day for the last couple of weeks and the temperature was -5C when I set out for work this morning, so the woollies (and several layers of them) will definitely be out for NY plus snow boots "just in case"!

I really hope to be able to go to the postconcert meetup. I'm coming to NY by myself and staying with a friend in Harlem, so we'll see!!! Look forward to meeting other Leonard fans---although I might be a touch younger--31.
All my best. I'm going to try to wear a pink, knit hat---so look for me!
