C'est moi. I slide inexorably into the slough and gutters on a tide of 'kingly' disdain. Alas, I took the warnings too lightly and too late, for my life was already marked down in the book of recidivists and my course was already mapped by the great panjandrum. Bless me your majesty for I have sinned. I have sinned grievously against the rising star in our firmament. Alas and alack, my woe is thricefold injurious to my lowly status. I shall take me to a monastery and purge my devilled spirit.
Farewell, sweet Skippy, until we meet again on some far off shore across an unlit sea.
etc., etc., etc....

Who will take care of sweet Albert ???

Honestly Paula, I'm shocked at your response. How could a lady of the realm of Albion allow herself to even think, let alone use such language as b******s. I am disappointed in you. Surely Bull***t would have been far more appropriate????

Elizabeth, I owe you a very large "oooooops". I do apologise. Albert smiles once more. Oh what joy there is in his eye. Thank you. Don't forget the porridge sandwiches or there'll be hell to pay.

I'm reminded of the phrase, "she who sows the wind shall reap the whirlwind."
Well, there's a hell of a lot of flatulence heading in someone's direction and it aint heading eastwards.
As the Spanish prisoner said to his captor, " I fart in your general direction." But you have to get the intonation just right in your head.

Byron,
You fawned over Makera for at least a month. You wanted to meet her, remember? Until she questioned your "sources". She even had some nice things to say about the Americans. That really bugged you. Also it slowly dawned on you that your babysitter didn't care for Makera. (La Liz realized that there was a "rising star in the firmament" and she might have a rival for Queen of the Board.) And there can only be one queen in this hive. One good thing... at the rate Lizzytysh is alienating everyone she's probably only got two or three killer bees left for defense. Her latest poleaxing of Kush didn't bring out the usual swarm. Progress.

Dear George Gordon, you seem to be one of the people who believes that I don't like Americans. I do like Americans. I don't like the way that the americans are constantly being hoodwinked by people with vested interests. If you were to study what I have written you would surely have realised by now that it is precisely because I like americans and their way of life, that I bring facts to their attention, which show how much they are being shafted. I do what I do because I don't like the way they are being treated. If you cannot understand that very simple fact, there is very little hope that you will understand the other facts I've highlighted.
If you see your best friend's wife cheating on your best friend with several other men, do you turn a blind eye and let your best friend be made a fool of? I think not. It is exactly the same reasoning behind my postings. Can't you yet understand that bit of simple logic?
What bothers me is that my countrymen are probably being hoodwinked as well by similar like minded people, and we aren't getting to hear about it.
As to personalities and who is queen of the board, I think you have lowered your standards by responding in such a way. Just look at who used the word 'kingly' within the last few hours. I don't have a direct line to William Blake, but I do know a change and shift in someone's argument when I read it. The term 180 degree about face comes to mind.
You will have read that I sometimes don't agree with some of Paula's views, but we get on very well thank you, without you crawling out and putting your wooden spoon into the pot. Paula has responded in her own way and I have a great deal of respect for her, even when we don't agree.
You've got a bee in your bonnet about me and americans, and George, you've got it all wrong. Open your eyes.

Maybe the Americans on this board are sick of hearing about your "concern" for them...especially when it is always preceded by a slam. If your countrymen are being hoodwinked and not getting to hear about it...why don't you clue them in and bring "facts to their attention." Clean up your own backyard first. Then you can tell everyone how its done.
Now, let see...Makera uses the word "kingly" and you then "fart at her." Classy.

Dear Sweet Albert's Babysitter,
I have to hand it to you Lizzytysh, that was a brillant recovery in your last post to Kush. Diabolical even. Not many people could insult someone so visicously in one post and then "thank" them for "appreciating" it in another.
You will never be dethroned! But at the rate you are going you won't have any subjects left.
