Anybody from the forum interested in getting together for pre-show meetups at any of the upcoming concerts?
I don't know about anyone else, but I'd really be keen to meet a few of LC's most loyal Australian fans ... not to mention any overseas board members who are making the long trek down under to see Leonard play (although sadly it sounds like Jarkko won't be able to come).
I will be seeing five of the Australian dates: Adelaide (my home town), Sydney (2nd show), Hunter Valley, Bowral and Brisbane. If there are already meetup plans for any of these ... shoot'em my way. Otherwise .... anybody keen?

Naturally I would definately be interested in meeting up before the Adelaide concert.
I am still trying to finalise a way to get down there and back seeing that the show will end up running for a good couple of hours.

Hi Sean,
these winery shows are going to end up as pretty long days. Looking at the programme it looks like the two support acts get about an hour each before Leonard comes on. Assuming he does his full show -- currently close to 3 hours -- that will end up being a LOT of live music in one day.
For transport, the website for A Day On The Green does list a phone number for a bus company, but not many details. Other than that, I guess the other option is just driving -- which is what I will be doing. If you're still short on transport when the time comes close, give me an email: I may have a spare seat or two.

Brisbane Pre-Concert Meetup
Well, it's only one week now (3rd Feb) until we see Mr Cohen at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, on what promises to be, from the NZ/Oz reports I've read so far, an awesome night (despite the venue)!
Anyway, I thought it would be nice to invite those of you from the Forum who plan to attend this concert (but whom I don't know) to join some of my friends (from Toowoomba, Brisbane and other parts of South East Queensland) beforehand, so we can not only get into a relaxed state, but also share that sense of excited anticipation before the show starts (7.15 pm). I suggest we meet at about 6.00 pm at the Stars Bar - well, given his boosted celebrity status, that's the one our man is most likely to be at!
There are other bars and eateries as you can see by visiting this link: http://www.brisent.com.au/default.asp?PageID=23 , but the BEC staff person I spoke to suggested this was a good size one (and I thought, easy to remember).
I look forward to hopefully seeing some of you there - please spread the word about our "meet-up" plan!

I am off to the second show. After going to Sydney last week I couldnt let the opportunity to see what could well be Lens last ever Aussie show.
