Manchester 20th. June vine - 3cd version
I apologise to those folk who have been in contact asking to set up a trade for this and other shows.
While I'm still an avid collector of audience recordings I don't trade anymore.
For those forum members who cannot download the shows from the internet I don't mind setting up a few vines of the recent shows.
I shall start with one of my favourite recordings from the last tour - Manchester 20th. June 2008.
To save the discs crossing backwards and forwards between continents the vine will be in 4 parts
UK
Europe
USA
Australia
I shall organise each vine geographically and this will be done off board.
There will be a maximum of 10 people per vine.
* Please don't sign up if you if are going away on holiday in the next few weeks.
* Please don't sign up if you can't copy and send off the discs within a couple of days.
When I have complied the vine structure I will post it up here and then the usual rules will apply
I will start with the UK first.
So those folk in the UK who want to participate please pm or email me your forum name and area.
Setting up a vine geographically for a UK vine may seem unnecessary, but the time it takes mail to cross the Orish Sea makes it necessary.
PLEASE DON'T POST YOUR DETAILS ON THIS THREAD
Once the UK vine is setup I shall set up one for another of the territories.

Re: Manchester 20th. June vine - 3cd version
Surprisingly only 5 people in the Uk have signed up for this show.
It's definitely the best recording of Leonard's 4 night residency at the Opera House and I also think it was Leonard's best performance of the 4 Manchester shows AND it has Famous Blue Raincoat on the setlist.
To make up the numbers on the vine is there anybody interested in Europe?
If so pm or email me your forum name.
I shall be posting the discs out first thing Monday.
I have put a bonus disc in the package.
It is a dvd of the Glastonbury show. I'm usually not much of a fan of concert dvds but I've really enjoyed watching this one. It's a very good audience recording that has been well edited and gives a really good feel for the concert.

Hi all,
Could somebody who is near the head of this vine please let us know where we are? For example, have the discs arrived with Davido?
Thanks very much.

Re: Manchester 20th. June vine - 3cd version
I had some disc-burning problems which are now resolved.
All discs now posted to bluegee.
Ken has kindly included 2 bonus dvds which are to be added to the vine.

3 cds of the concert are in tonight's post to stand in stuntman. Quality is superb. I haven't received the dvds yet - there was a techical hitch and they're following shortly. I didn't want to delay the cds moving along, so will forward the dvds asap.
Many thanks for this vine liverpoolken. This is treasure.

Gregor
You are not on this vine.
I think that the vine that you mention must have been the Manchester 18th. vine.
