But Alas I Confess, I Found No Philosophy There
I went to University
Lectures, studies and Students Union
Had a few drinks of beer
Had discussions and conversations
Meet a few girls
Fell in love and fell in bed
It was love, at least for me, honestly
But it was only just sex, really
I got my degree and left without a care
But alas I confess, I found no philosophy there
Now an executive with a Blue Chip company
Conferences after conference and still more conferences
Meetings arranged, scheduled world trips
Met a few good looking colleagues
Who were honestly, really smart girls?
But both of us would not compromise careers
However made love and sexed-up the boardroom table
So I left for more money and resigned in despair
But alas I confess, I found no philosophy there
Still searching for a true, pure philosophy
I studied the ancient Great Greeks texts
And decided on Nudism or Naturisms aesthetic
Symbiotically the mind needs a good physique
There was lots of sun and tanned smiling girls
I rubbed oil on their backs legs and breasts
And at the Country Club Nude Disco had Greek orgy sex
The spiritual dimension lost, gasping for demagogues and air
But alas I confess, I found no philosophy there
Maybe I should start a philosophy society of my own?
Maybe communicate by video, Internet and phone
But I preferred the Greek naturist natural idyll
Naked ladies are good for business and human group interest
Met such philosophers like Machiavellian Devotees
Bigoted Buddhists and Brothers of the Righteous Right
Who only threw good people to the Christians?
So I have to summarise my vision, take a stand
People say they like to be touched by Philosophy
But are only interested in being touched physically
Especially around the groin and bum, so beware
I definitely know, you'll find no philosophy there
My wife says I am a adolescent pup that's silly
I say a have a Universal position as Galactic Pixie
My children say dad, that joke is just not funny
But I have too much energy and life, for self-pity
In desperation I found solace and solitude in poems
So I www-ed to the Beautiful Loser, Leonard Cohen
And my heart said Hello, I have been reborn
On the meeting board and the Memberships of Open Forum
Lots of Anonymous People without any personal details
Became electronic butterflies, sending post by emails
My touchstone to philosophy was poetry, just everywhere
Finally, at long last, I had found philosophers
And alas I confess, philosophy was there
But Alas I Confess, I found No Philosophy There
But Alas I Confess, I found No Philosophy There
Life rewards action, just as well done is better than well said. Yours the Galactic Pixie

Is philosophy man made or a few genetic hormones divinely stuck to our ape geromes?
Why else are we always looking for the source of the mythical river?
Is light finite or just a base form of the real light?
Is the real light really there or just a figment of?
What happens to the motivating energy that leaves our mortal coil?
As it cannot be created or destroyed, does it go back to the source?
Georges

I am a right bad ass, dankish prince and I love my Violet to bits.
Dear George
This is one line which I have found myself repeating nearlly all my life.
Everybody keeps telling that one and one makes two and I am supposed to be impressed. This I know!!!!!!
I could write forever on this one line, but mainly in fustration
Kind regards
Ben

Hey Ben~
Just read your prose/poem/curriculum vitae; got kick out of it!
Especially liked the line about those who "only throw good people to the Christians?" Quite frankly, I think most 'dogma-tons' (I just made that up; I see them as automatons) are far worse than lions. Lions have good reason for their behaviour.
