Is space the final frontier?
and if this is so, why is it so clear?
are there hidden depths to the darkness of the night?
to see them does it require the gift of second sight?
are black holes really there or just to scare?
the curious from the secret's of the underbelly?
are our minds fluid or just made of jelly?
are we all shadows on some giant telly?
and as we painted beasts on the caves eons ago
and trampled through the wild west in winter in the depths of snow
and sandwitch silicon more wafer thin into chips of binary intent
and marvelled at the ark of the covenant in the tent
send rockets into space without relent
never knowing the reason why?
on the relentless pursuit of the ego and I
we continue to look up into the sky
like lost children with the veil of tears in our eye
is it just the science or is it the spawn?
that will return to the source long before the first primeval dawn?

You are right about the ancients 'technology', not necessarily the source.

Yes Atlantis was real; the Great Pyramid is 12,000 years old; no it wasn't built by ETs.
