I've never had acupuncture, but understand it is pretty painless.

Tats, not so much. It (the pain) is part of the overall appeal and transition. imho.
I simply cannot see where there is to get to. Plath

Yes, that's my point too. I've never had acupuncture either, though I am interested.
I would get a tat only for the sake of the pain. I don't want an image.

Though I might consider something just for the sake of weirdness.
A hollow square around my belly button.
or on the back of my neck.
or a spoon on the back of my neck.
A spoon inside a square?
I like spoons, they're pretty.

I wouldn't want it to be representative of something I "believe in." Such things are too fickle.
But I doubt I'll ever really get a tat.
There, I considered it. Done. :)

Yep, just Midol. At least that I know of.

Spoons!

Ha! London. They gave us these really huge spoons (forks too) in our hotel's dining room. It was a running joke that they considered us (Americans) neanderthal and so they gave us the fist grip utensils. Ah, but I digress. Spoons. Gotta love em. Made split pea soup today and used one. What a coincidence!!

Yeah. In my 30's I never considered getting a tat. Wait till you get into your 40's. Whether it's to be a rebel (nostalgically) or something that just seems right, it could happen. It's definately not something to be done frivilously.

cheers,
L

Hi Laurie - I enjoyed this. You've used some very clever imagery.
I really enjoy tattoo's - not little ones though, big bold ones.
I don't have any on my own body, but I love them on someone else's.
