SIT DOWN!

Post by terry shute »

It seems a particular problem at the NEC, where security isn't so effective - the selfish few in the first rows who insist on standing up, forcing everyone behind onto their feet.
a few dylan shows there have been a test of physical endurance! maybe Cohen fans have more dignity & consideration, let's hope so.
what has been the experience at the O2 arena?

At the O2, excepting standing ovations, the crowd remained seated until the encores, whereupon they stood for the final half hour. I enjoyed that, and I enjoy standing concerts generally. For such a long concert, especially one in which many audience members ache in the places where they used to play, my opinion is that it works perfectly to sit for 21/2 hours, and stand for half an hour. :)

Tell me about it! I went to the concert in Bruges. The venue was nice but I prefer a seated concert.
A lot of people had chairs with them, but they couldn't see a thing with everybody standing in front of them.

The people seemed to like the concert. It looked like Leonard got a standing ovation after every song. I know... Stupid joke.

I was at the NEC Arena in May to see Mark Knopfler - row E in block B. All around me were seated until the encores. I'm hoping for the same when I see Leonard - same block, same row!
