Nativity
I
When I was young I sold my soul
for candy bars, comic books and pop.
I didn't miss it, free will came instead,
but still I wonder if it was fair trade.
II
I heard of a woman who found Jesus
on the stone floor of a back alley.
I looked there my self – no luck, no sign
of life, except for the contents of a condom
that the blessed couple prayed was not holy.

When I was Neil Young
well, hello Mr Soul
four candy bars,
comic books and Pop.
I didn't miss it,
three will came instead,
Ben Stiller,
I, Wonder Woman,
if it was an affair
laid?

I heard of a woman who found Jesus
on the stone floor of a really nice Church.
I looked there on the shelf – to collect an hymn book
of life,
I forget for the contents of my condo
in Church the happily married couple
prayed and were holy.
Dear Cate
I feel that I have stayed true not only to the spirit of your writing but also to its spirit. In many ways that is the more. Or less.
I am very glad to have been

You are the King indeed.
I always thought wonder woman was a chick though?

"Thank you Mike well done!

said Cate to a man who has no idea how to separate quotybits and respond to them seriatim
wonder woman starts off as a chick but by the time I have finished with hymn, say your prayers.
then, disturbing the purity of my writing, you said
"When I was Neil Hung-

and I observe a crudités or two creeping in, which is sad in a rather sad way.
When I was Nil-hung
I gave Cate a rung
and she song me a sung
and it became a bigger thung
all 3 of my willies
raise in praise
of your sweet name

Re: Nativity - parts I and II
and I am seeing Neil Young this Sunday in a festival, so Hello Mr Soul!
Re: Nativity - parts I and II
You know what, you're right that was crude, especially considering I wrote it at the office - our poor IT department.and I observe a crudités or two creeping in, which is sad in a rather sad way.
I hope I didn't offend, you know I like you, I just went for easy not clever. (to be honest at the time it seemed funny to me)
I'll blame it on being annoyed at being forced to make hard decisions at work.
Thanks for your little poem - 3 huh? -

Cate - who will try to be better behaved.
p.s. have a good time at the Neil Young thing - gotta like Neil, he's great!
