Re: Hamburg, Germany, 31.10.2008
hmmm, well i got burned last time with booking tickets via them (eventim) when they sold tickets for an unconfirmed concert - i got a refund for the ticket price but was euro 40 out of pocket for the fees & delivery plus returning the tickets registered post at my cost too - i thought it was very unfair (but more an issue for someone living outside of germany)
Jarkko, have these been confirmed ?
and can anyone tell me more about the hamburg venue (capacity ?) and the berlin venue (not waldbuehne, which appealed to me even large) - well i guess the 02 in Berlin is also owned by Leonard tour management company ..........
p.s. happy for you guys though who are happy about this announcment
and fingers crossed it is not eventim jumping the gun and starting the sale before they should !

All I know is that they are still finishing building it and my Berlin friends tell me it was somewhat controversial! I suppose all I know is that - if it happens - second row is still second row!!!loulou wrote: well i guess the 02 in Berlin is also owned by Leonard tour management company ..........

Re: Hamburg, Germany, 31.10.2008
I'm waiting for the list of confirmed fall concerts any day now. Like last time, the Germans were the first to start selling tickets. However, I have no reason to question the correctness of the Eventim & Ticketmaster information about the German concerts. (Reserved tickets to Berlin myself!).
I have merged four separate Germany threads to this one!!

Loulou,
As for the Hamburg venue please look here: http://www.colorline-arena.com/arena.php?thisMain=0
and there: http://www.colorline-arena.com/bestuhlu ... &thisSub=3
They're also writing:
LEONARD COHEN am 31. Oktober 2008
Which I poorly translate into:
"One of the most unusual artists of pop confirms his coming for Autumn 2008...."
I mean, they are saying "confirms" ! I just don't wanna doubt.

Re: Berlin October 4 - O2
At the new venue close to Ostbahnhof, the former central station of the capital of the german democratic republic, or as the french say la gare de l'est - the parisian station of the same name is what I prefer - it's at O2 World, which will open its doors for the first time a couple of weeks earlier with a band from england.
