Awakenings

when blows rain down and all you can see
is a blood soaked memory of that tree
that cradled the universe as you then knew it
where time had no meaning as it was not a factor
long before man could harness the power of the nuclear reactor
the land of the tree was naked and free
where sin had no purpose and the soul was connected to the infinate tree
beautiful, idyllic and had no morass
death did not happen, there was no carcass
if knowledge was eaten, it awakened an urge
for man to go forwards and to purge
forgetting that simple infinate moment
when time stood still........................
sunshine over the mansions on the green golden hill
it sleepeth and did waken and did push us out of the nest
and slithered a death purpose and we all know the rest
