There are a couple of recordings from the tour on the "Dime" Torrent site. Can be quite hard to get on if your not a member, but keep trying, its worth it. Have Toronto (first show) on CD now, its going to be hard to find a better quality recording of the tour

dynamiksdreamdebased has kindly put wednesday's gig on the dime torrent site

the moncton and toronto gigs are on there too - both great recordings

you're obviously a tw fan, so if you go on dime then be sure to get tw's paris concert from may 29, 2000 - one of the best gigs i ever attended ;-)

I'd love to get my hands on a copy of the Brisbane show (3rd Feb, '09). If anyone's seen it, please give me a yell.

It's on dimeadozen, which I joined primarily for that reason after someone posted the link in the Pacific Tour topic. (In fact, as I type (at work) my BitTorrent client is still open at home, seeding it. :) )

As someone completely new to BitTorrent, I now need to find a FLAC player so that I can listen to what may have been the best concert of my life, let alone burn it to CDs.

Nick

If you want to listen to encoded FLAC files on your PC then the foobar player can be found here......

I'm not sure if I'm teaching my granny how to suck eggs here but you will need FLAC Frontend to decode the FLAC files to WAV files for burning to disc and that can be found here....

Thanks Ken. I've never tried sucking eggs, so the help is appreciated. :) I've already downloaded Burrrn so that I can try burning CDs from the flac files. Shame my burner is malfunctioning!

Thanks Ken.

It's few years since I used flac, and I changed computer 4 times.

Yesterday I enlisted to dimeadozen website and already have 5 Aussie shows, in a week or so I'll get everything available from this tour.

Hello, I am totally new here. I joined as I see Leonard will be playing in Winnipeg in April. I am a long time fan but this for some reason is my first opportunity to see LC live.

I am wondering if any of you would care to recommend some really good live shows to download (DIME etc.) as I get ready for the blessed event in April. I will definately go for the Toronto and Moncton shows.

Thanks

Thanks janedw, have downloaded tlh and will play with it tonight. Meanwhile I used BURRN successfully to burn the CDs, 3 of them, for one show :) , and have used Media Monkey to listen to some of the FLAC files directly.

The usual Winamp plays flac files without any problems.
I still didn't find the way to burn it as wav files to usual music CD - will try BURRN, thanks.

That dimeadozen.org is not very wise organised - I am now blocked on 5GB (5 shows downloaded) and I have to get my sharing ratio above 0.50 I think - but nobody is leeching, and the system is organised in such way that, it seems, you can share the recording ONLY after you have downloaded it in its entirety. The better way is that you're seeding immediately as you're leeching... Ratio is going high very quickly then. I downloaded 5 shows in few hours, and now I can't get ratio above 0.25 for 5 days now.
