Of course I do not mean you. You are and have clearly been a devoted fan of Leonard's. I hope that your second set of seats ~ at double the price... did I hear someone say "devoted fan" ? ~ work out well for you. That sounds right regarding the balcony railing. I'm sure your tickets will be fine. Won't the tickets be for you and your [grown] daughter... or were you considering taking your grandchild? I'm referring to those strange names, never seen or heard from before or since the special chance for tickets through this site became known. Suddenly, everyone in the 'world' is having irrevocable "change of plans" ~ it just doesn't wash, as I've read and read and read various pleas for selling of their tickets. A devoted fan ~ generally speaking ~ has been waiting for this event for virtual forever. At last having so unexpectedly arrived, we knew to buy our tickets ASAP and make our plans in the same fashion. Yet, we have a plethora of people who 'just aren't able to make it, after all' ~ I finally just had to say something with an implied "Hmm ~ right ."

This doesn't mean, of course, that all of these hoping-to-be-sold tickets are touters; but, dang, surely I'm not the only one looking at these offers and thinking, "We seem to have a touter or two onboard. And what legitimate fans missed out due to the touter's greed?"

Well, I know for me, in my enthusiasm I bought tix to all 3 Toronto shows, Kitchener and Hamilton.....

Now real life has set in and I've had to scale back to Kitchener and Hamilton.

I'm just hoping to get back as close to cost as I can and hope someone enjoys the seats
cos I did manage to get good ones for all the shows !

Hi all, I have two tickets for Great Hall Hamilton Place on June 3. I bought tickets for both Kitchener and Hamilton, but since the setlists are virtually the same I think I may take the day and do a canoe trip up north instead of going to Hamilton. They are orchestra seats O 10-12. Good seats. Including the surcharges, mailing, credit card surcharge, and intl call from the States, I paid a total of $210 for the two of them. That's what I'm asking. The only catch is that I need to sell them to you today so I can make my plans for my canoe trip.

Having been a fan for almost 40 yeas, I never thought I would ever get the chance to see Leonard again. When the opportunity came up, I did indeed buy my tickets asap and make plans in the same vein. However, and I can only speak for myself, sometimes real life gets in the way of devotion. I have a job, and commitments, that not even a chance to see Leonard can always overcome. You are very lucky if you have never had to change your long laid plans at short notice for family crises, business commitments etc.

So please stop being so barbed about the people who are offering tickets for sale on here. If we wanted to make money, we would be on eBay, not offering tickets here for cost (or less).

In my comments, I've tried to allow for exceptions. Still, the jist of what I'm saying remains. Not everyone on here is offering their tickets at cost. It may also come to be that, with all the warnings regarding touters, that the touters may return here hoping to at least get cost back on their tickets.

If I've offended you, I'm sincerely sorry. Again, not sure how to qualify any more than I have what I've said about its not applying to everyone. Yes, I've had real life interferences with plans. Yet, not all the excuses/reasons here ring true. There remain a lot of new names here, with more than their allotted 'share' of tickets, with so many necessary changes of plans... to the extent that I still say "Hmm." I don't know how much of a barb that is... in fact, one of the advertisers here [of having tickets] I dealt with personally via email. As it turned out, he advised me to go to ebay and bid... or I could get the tickets at a given minimum... and, no, he wouldn't break up the three that he had. So, coming here doesn't de facto make someone a fan. His emails were purely business-as-usual pragmatic, without a hint of fandom, much less any level of concern for another fan. Generally, you can tell when you're talking with another fan. There are those who came for the money and there are those who are going for the love. I'm not asking you or anyone else to agree with me; yet, it got to where I wanted to say something and did. Again, if I've offended you personally, it's not my intent. Those who aren't in the category I speak of will know that and know they're exempted from my message.

Well, given she has posted 18,000 posts over the last six years, my guess is she has plenty of time and not too many deterring pressures.

I still thank all the touters, who are unable to sell their tickets, for their contribution to the worthy cause. You know who you are... and you know who you aren't. I speak only for myself regarding those who are. Since there are still those willing to get a ticket from a touter [myself included ], there will still be sales; and hopefully those who really intended to attend and legitimately cannot will get theirs sold first.

I am just very glad that such a place exists (and scarlet mist for that matter) so that it is still possible to be in touch with and to buy from and sell to other real fans!
