Hi, everybody! I'm a new fan, so don't yell at me if I don't know all the songs. ;)

Hi Alexandra!

Along with Iubita, I welcome you to the Forum! I'm wondering how you got into my house and caught my cat in action for your avatar :D . You're not alone on not knowing all the songs. I still don't have Death of a Ladies Man, and not sure how many are on it that I haven't heard elsewhere.

Welcome to the Forum, Alexandra. Enjoy your stay - and one song you better not start singing around here: "Alexandra leaving". :)

Damn you, Tom - you stole my corny pun!

But welcome, Alexandra. I suggest that you go out and buy everything Leonard Cohen has ever done. I bought pretty much all the older CDs in sales. Mostly for £4.99 in English. To convert that in to other currencies, that is cheap.

Lizzytysh, "Death of a Ladies' Man" is very, very different from his other stuff. Phil Spector's influence is certainly very clear, but I think it goes to show LC's versatility. And it's by Leonard Cohen, after all...

Hi Rhodes ~

Yes, that's what I've always felt, that at least it's Leonard......and I've heard Death of a Ladies Man once, in approximately 1983 as I'm recalling. My friend who had it loved Leonard, and hated the album. I remember feeling baffled by it, but that's all. I still look forward to hearing/getting it. I know from hearing them that there are at least some on it that I like.
