The choir is directed by Daryl Henline. The album was produced by Scot Velardo and Jeff Anderson and recorded by Joe Goldring at Closer Studio, San Francisco.

The Conspiracy of Beards, based in San Francisco, are a 30 member acapella male choir performing exclusively the songs of Leonard Cohen. Inspired by late artist Peter Kadyk and directed by Daryl Henline, the group performs gritty, uplifting renditions of Cohen's songs. The group has performed to audiences in the Bay Area in California. In Spring 2008 they had concerts also in New York.

Connect with the website of the choir at http://www.conspiracyofbeards.com

Thanks to Ken Kurzweil for the album and Lightning for the video of the New York concert!

Isn't this frustrating when they do this.....usually there's no indication on the CD notes that there is a bonus track.

I only found out by accident the hidden track on Dear Heather and that was a year after I bought it!!! I set the CD player on 'continual play' and after each song had been played twice, lo and behold there was an early recording or 'Priests' suddenly coming throught the speakers. I was annoyed that no one had mentioned it to me before..but at least I found it.
I've since found that it plays if you set it to 'random' and as long as each song is played twice then 'Priests' suddenly appears.

Just seen Pete's marvellous post. I suspect I'm not alone in suspecting its content has something to do with the date on which it was sent?
