Prophet Clowns

Do we seek to be found
running around town
playing the clown
living in a state of being let down?
We will leave this town
going someplace different
to play the clown
in search of a place
that is sound...
Or will we always
be just clowns
fooling around
in and out of
different towns
hidden never to be found
and our sound
is only with other clowns
passing through towns
just fooling around
with the understanding
that we are found
never let down.
