Post by jarkko »

The tickets are available at http://www.ticketone.it since this morning.
I have also added some other ticket info to http://www.leonardcohenfiles.com/tour2008-1.html

Andrea and Marco reported that they got tickets to 2nd row in Lucca!

Yes, beautiful. I thought of going there before being successful in getting tickets nearer to home, but the budget flights are not so budget at that time :(
Congratulations Andrea and Marco.

Looks like a very nice place to see Leonard. On the TicketOne page I did not found anything like a seating plan... but it seems to be with seatings. Does anyone know more about the place from former concerts at the summer festival?

direct link to LC show

I can't find online shoping, just three phone numbers for calling?

seems like a city square. Piazza Napoleone.

How can I reach Lucca from Verona or Milano (via Venezia)?

I am also overloaded with requests from Croatia, so I have to explain the ways to people :) (At least until Siget and Vienna are not confirmed.)

There is a train service from Venice to Lucca which takes 3.5 to 4 hours. Lucca has a train service between Pisa and Florence and I expect trains run also from other major cities. Our friends Andrea and Marco in Italy will know more.

Thanks Margaret, that's ven better! When I went to visit Andrea and Co. (Verona Meet-Up in December), it needed 2 hours with train from Venezia, to reach Verona. This is great! I already wrote to Andrea also.

I need 6 hours from Zagreb to Venezia, there are two trains daily.

Hi, I'm from Verona and I'll be in Lucca too (can't wait!). In my opinion, the shortest way to reach it from here is to get the train that leaves at about 3:15 pm and get another train in Prato (not Florence). Then you'll be in Lucca at about 6:30 pm. If you're planning to arrive earlier that day, I guess it will take you more time to reach Lucca :(

(There has been a Verona meet-up in December?! I wish I had discovered this forum sooner :( )

The site was a bit slow to show up when I just tried it, but eventually it did.

Try again Tom, and be patient ;-)

have a look at this site some nice photos of the piazza http://www.virtualtourist.com/travel/Eu ... -BR-1.html

especially a few near the bottom, give you an idea of the size.
