hhmm....friday 13th, am tempted to see can I get better tickets for this than I did for the Saturday, in the hope that the insane rush for tickets might have passed over...I have section A8 row SS for saturday despite my best efforts, will it be easier to get better seats for the Friday do people think?

Claire lets keep the extra date as quiet as possible..... not many lurkers on the forum these days, and maybe we will get lucky and get good seats nearer the front this time. 2 nights in a row of Mr Cohen, heaven on earth!
I will even put up with Damian Rice, but then again, if we have our seats we can hang out at the chippy till he is finished 8)

Was this shown before? I don't recall reading it, thought there was no support act...
Where did you read this?
Sorry for not answering before ClosingDoors, had problems accesing the forum

I saw it at the ticketmaster.ie site. If you click on 'More Info' now it says
Special Guest: Damien Rice

By the way, it also says: "No Golf Unbrella's allowed"

He's just a wind-up merchant Tinderella.... don't let him wind you up.... ignore him & he might go off and find himself a life (wouldn't hold my breath though... ;-) )
you may be right, I may be crazy.... but it just may be a lunatic you're looking for...

blah, blah, blah, blah, blah..... plenty

real-alan

This is a quote from a post by Verite elsewhere on the forum.
It came to mind when I saw your hasty and ill-judged comment about Red Poppy.
and so I offer up a proverb from the far east for those who would post hereafter - be it here, there or everywhere: fan she shih tzu erh ho shuo - "turn tongue ten times, then speak."

damellon, I am touched by your post.

I know real-alan thinks other of me but then who pays too much attention to someone who thinks they're the real-anything

tinderella, your welfare was my sole concern - sometimes a rush of blood can make people of your age forget and then BANG - an empty seat at a summer gig and everyone blaming it on the slowness of public transport. ;-)

nocure, The Blower's Daughter is a very fine song, in my opinion! And an interesting title ;-)
